"A
renowned performer, actor, puppeteer and
musician, Craig held his huge audience of
children of all ages transfixed throughout
the whole of his performance. Surrounded
by granite and served with generous helpings
of good clean fun, he cleverly delivers
a considerable amount of knowledge about
Cornwall - its pre-history, its geography
and geology, its myths and legends, while
sorting out fact from fiction as he goes
merrily along. This is a rock'n'roll, volcanic
and vital performance by an entertaining
educator who dashes in and out of costume
and character faster then his pet dinosaur
can wink its all-seeing eye."
This summer, come on a journey to Ancient
Cornwall… A land of shuddering rocks, boiling seas
and fiery volcanoes… A land of strange prehistoric creatures
who roam the primeval landscape… A land of myth and legend, where giants
step from hilltop to hilltop and druids
cast spells to foretell the future… A land of ancient stone circles, cliff-top
castles and mysterious monuments… A land of Stones and Bones…
Squashbox Theatre’s new show is a marvellous
mix of history and mystery!
Find out all about archaeology and fossils,
say hello to one of your stone-age ancestors,
hear stories of giants and wizards, see
a volcano erupting before your very eyes,
and maybe even glimpse a dinosaur or two…
There will be thrills and spills galore,
but also lots of laughs and plenty of puppets,
along with songs, slapstick, tall tales
and crazy characters – all presented in
that unique Squashbox style!
For children aged 5+ and their families.
